| The dirtiest air in the United States is
located in California and New York - and between the two the air is
not much better. We all spend the majority of our time indoors, yet
the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states that indoor air
is usually up to five times worse and sometimes as much as 100 times
worse than the air outdoors. One in seven people in New England has
been diagnosed with respiratory disease. Asthma and allergies are
either caused by or aggravated by polluted indoor air. Toxic mold
has caused so many health problems and property damage that most casualty
and property insurers exclude mold related claims. There is no place
in the world where a mold does not thrive. Hospital acquired infections
account for over 100,000 American deaths each year.
